About Me- Gabriela Cox

I am an avid creator and a professional with great perseverance. In my current position as Conference Service Manager at Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, I have interacted, planned, and executed events, working with a wide variety of clients, differing  in background, industry, and expectation to make visions come to life. While I have taken great pride in my work, I recognized early on that my creativity aspired beyond Sales and event planning; consequently, I returned to school while working full time to complete my MBA in Marketing.

I am a marketing professional determined to create visuals and concepts for businesses that generate memorable storytelling and result-driven experiences. With my background based in client-facing roles and creative execution, I bring both strategic thinking and artistic perspective to every project. I am especially drawn to work that blends artistry with purpose--where creative direction and strategy merge to create a compelling story filtered with intention and clarity. I'm currently seeking opportunities to grow within a collaborative agency where I can contribute to meaningful visually-driven campaigns.

Project of Individual Company

As a creative marketer, I have developed a range of self-initiated projects; most recently, I create a mock design for a business that sells handmade gothic-based items. Though this company is conceptual, I developed the logo in Procreate, and designed supporting brand materials, including mock business cards in Canva. I strategized the concept of the business with sleek black packaging, and hand-written notes sealed with a wax stamp to encompass the brand identity. The concept reflects my ability to merge visual design with story telling, incorporating my appreciation for language and art in a cohesive gothic style brand identity. 

Trial & Improvement

Marketing, much like Sales, requires understanding the client needs and translating them into a clear, strategic vision that aligns with expectations and goals. The logos shown above were created in Procreate by me for a small business owner specializing in woodworking--the client requested an image that was masculine, capturing the craftmanship and personality of the brand. Client feedback is a critical part of the creative process, and I approach it as an opportunity to refine and reimagine concepts in order to deliver thoughtful, memorable results. 

Personalized Projects

I have experimented with almost every art medium possible. Though much of this expressionism is for personalized gifts, I would love to bring my creativity into a professional marketing environment, aiding clients in the success of their own creative visions. I love to consider the connections a product or business creates for the audience, supporting visual concepts with intentional work that aligns with identity.
